Aalborg Akvavit

In 1846 the Aalborg Akvavit company was founded in the Danish city, which bears the same name, by a young Pole, Isidor Henius, who came to Denmark in 1838. The Akvavit is the national drink in some Scandinavian countries such as Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway, but also well known internationally. The brand has enjoyed great popularity for over a century. In particular, the Aquavit jubilee, which was made for the occasion of its 100th anniversary, is still being manufactured and is even being delivered to the Danish royal family. The fine spirits score mainly through their fruity yet spicy notes.
