In 1895 the Aultmore Distillery was founded by Alexander Edward. After a few changes of ownership, which were also due to the First World War, the distillery finally ended up at Bacardi.
There are hardly any standard bottlings from Aultmore. There are some independent bottlings, but the majority goes to the blend industry.
