Jacobus Alfons, called Bobby, emigrated from Indonesia to the Netherlands in 1950. He immediately fell in love with the so-called Dutch Jenever, a dry gin variety. What he lacked, however, were spices and herbs from his homeland and so he started to create his own gin for himself.
Years later, and only in 2014, his grandson founded the company Bobby’s Dry Gin and launched the exceptional gin varieties on the market. In the meantime, the gin has become a huge fan base, especially in the Far East.
